The Rochambeau Ship
Built by Chantiers de Penhoet, St. Nazaire, France, 1911. 12,678 gross tons; 598 (bp) feet long; 63 feet wide. Steam triple expansion engines, twin screw. Service speed 15 knots. 2,128 passengers (428 second class, 1,700 third class).Refitted 1919, 1926, 1927. Two funnels and two masts.
Built for French Line, French flag, in 1911 and named Rochambeau. Le Havre-New York and later Bordeaux-New York service. Scrapped at Dunkirk in 1934.
